  • Ensure that the bedroom is as quiet as possible and well shaded to keep the light out.
  • Nicotine is a stimulant that prevents the brain from resting. Elminating smoking can help with better sleep
  • Avoid taking naps, especially in the afternoon.
  • Avoid heavy meals just before bedtime. It over-burdens the digestive system and keeps you awake. Also, avoid rich, spicy, heart-burn inducing food late at night.
