Cinnamon Origin

Cinnamon is an evergreen tree which is small and bushy and commonly found in South Asia and the Middle East region. The dried leaves and the inner bark are used as a spice or condiment. The inner bark is cured and dried. True cinnamon plants originate from Sri Lanka and Ceylon, while cassia or Chinese cinnamon is grown in Burma.
