Origin

  • Pregnancy

    Cumin is rich in iron and a real boon for pregnant and lactating mothers. Consume a decoction of cumin seeds mixed with milk and honey. This provides for the healthy development of the foetus and eases child birth. Cumin contains Thymol which tends to increase secretions from the glands and thus ensures the secretion of breast milk.
  • Digestive disorder

    Cumin is extremely good for digestion and related problems. It contains Cuminaldehyde, which activates the salivary glands and facilitates the primary digestion of the food. It also contains Thymol, which triggers the production of acids, bile and enzymes and ensures the complete digestion of the food.
