Fennel Origin
The fennel is a hardy, perennial herb with yellow flowers and feathery leaves. The fennel fruits or seeds as they are referred to are oval/cylindrical and yellowish brown in colour. It is a highly aromatic and flavorful herb with culinary and medicinal uses.

The fruits or fennel seeds are refrigerant, anthelmintic, expectorant, carminative, digestive, cardiac stimulant, galactogogue and diuretic in nature.
