    Translation: Oh thy divine couple Shiva and Parvati ! Oh, thee, the protectors of the universe! Along with Lords Brahma and Vishnu, ee pray to You for our well-being, prosperity and the enlightenment of our souls.

I bow down to the Lord whose three eyes are the sun, the moon and the fire and whom Lord Vishu is very close. I salute to the Lord who is the refuge of all the devotees and the giver of boons.

    Translation: O! Lord Nandikesha, higly distinguished, son of Gowri and wholly devoted in the meditation of lord Shiva, please grant us the deserving permission to worship Lord Shiva. It has to be noted that this is sloka addressing Nandi.

    Translation: What can mere death do to me, when I bow down to Lord Shiva, the three-eyed one and the preceptor and lord of the universe.

    Translation: I salute to thee, Lord Shiva, the remover of sorrow and poverty, who is the consort of goddess Gowri, who has five faces, who protects his devotees, and who is the Lord of the universe.
